Full-Stack Unity Developer
We are looking for a Full-Stack Unity Developer to join our small, growing, unstoppably awesome team in Los Angeles. The Unity Developer will be helping to build out high performance Unity-based applications on multiple platforms, using existing standards, conventions, and product architecture. You'll also be helping with high-concept game design and overall product direction, for one very successful mobile game and more to come. Plus, you'll be working in a super-cool office with a bunch of thoroughly tolerable people.
- Work closely with our team to support our existing games and develop new projects across multiple platforms
- Design and implement new features, reusable components, and documentation as requested, both client-side and server-side
- Fix bugs and ensure all games maintain a smooth and problem-free user experience
- Participate in team cross training, code reviews, and mentoring of more junior developers
- Coordinate with the team to define development timeframes, dependencies, and areas of risk to be considered in project planning
- Performance minded approach to architecting future proof infrastructure for products current, new, and unknown
- Letting everyone know every cool coding feature idea you may have whether it be for graphics, AI, or beyond
- Bring your passion to the table. Whether it's space exploration or Arabic literature, nature photography or Cajun cooking, we want to know what makes you excited and we want to help share that excitement with our players
We'll Be Even Happier If You Have...
- Experience with procedural animation and inverse kinematics
- Experience with 3D asset and texture creation
- Experience with procedural generation overall
- Experience with Objective-C and the Xcode development processes
- Experience with VR game design and development

- An interest in astronomy, space exploration, and the practical process of colonizing and terraforming other worlds.
- Experience with macOS computers and software.
- A passion for enriching games with details and mechanics drawn from real-world science and history.

One Year Later
A year ago today I was sitting on a couch in Christchurch, New Zealand.
